Which team from the West makes the Finals, and how many games will it take?

The Nugs are playing really good ball right now, but somehow, some way, I think the Lakers will pull it out in 7. Sucks, because I'd really like to go to a Finals game in Denver.

Kobe Bryant(notes) and the Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to be at the Pepsi Center in Denver next Monday night.
Problem is, so are John Cena and a bunch of wrestlers?and they called it first.
World Wrestling Entertainment said it is booked at the arena for an episode of Monday Night Raw, the same night the Nuggets are slated to host the Lakers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.
WWE chairman Vince McMahon told The Associated Press he doesn?t believe there was ?any malice, just ineptness,? on the part of Kroenke Sports, which owns the team and the building, but can?t tolerate the company ?just simply throwing us out on our ear.?
Without a quick resolution, McMahon plans to send his trucks to Denver.
?That?s what we intend to do,? he said. ?We?re going to show up.?

I like the Nuggets, actually, in this series. Which sucks, because I wanted to see LBJ in LA.

Denver has no one that can guard Kobe. Despite all of the other factors and mismatches the Nuggets have going for them, that's umm.... a problem.

True, but I don't think the Lakers have anyone that can check Melo either (they sure didn't last night), so those two may just cancel each other out.

'Melo is emminently more guardable than a Kobe or Lebron. He doesn't take the ball to the basket like those two, and thus, has difficulty with seperation and drawing fouls in crunch time. Great ball player for sure. But, still, second tier behind those two.

Agreed. Melo is a beast, but no where near Kobe or LeBron. Bron/Kobe are far and away the two best players in the League. I haven't seen Melo do it when it counts yet.
