That's the point. If you take Lebron away from last year's team, does that team win 20 games? So you can't really point to the Knicks and say, "why would Lebron want to play with those losers?" Lebron could turn any team into a winner.

You can't simply say take away those two guys and try to determine the record. Its an irrelevant argument because that money would be used on at least one other player that is probably the star of our team without Shaq and Lebron. If you want to argue that the supposrting cast sucks, do that, but i will disagree with you.

The most suprising thing of all is that 10 said he's possibly become a LBJ Knicks fan if he went there!!!!!
I'll admit that I'll be hoping daily for him to have a career ending injury if he did that. And I'm not even a Cleveland sports fan (except the Cavs). Gilbert is doing everything but blowing LeBron. He just got him an invite to the hi-roller billionaire's club retreat in Sun Valley, Idaho this week (or next). Only the richest of the rich get invited there. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and a host of big time money people. Gilbert finally got LBJ an invite after trying for 2/3 years. Even LeBrons buddy Warren Buffet didn't get him in. |

I think I leave it at 50/50 at best, just so I'm not crushed if he goes Cleveland sports history on us. I will say, comparising rosters at this point is a waste of time. Wait for the salary dumping this trade deadline, and ridiculous rosters come summer of 2010 just to chase 2 max deals. It will be absurd. |

I qualified it. If the Cavs left town for any city other than Columbus, I'm not just going to stop watching the NBA. I can't be bitter Cleveland sports fan my whole life.

Why is Wally still on this team?

I don't mind signing him to a one year contract. And that he knows he is an insurance policy and will be at the end of the bench most of the season.

You musta been drinking heavily and went into the kitchen for a sammich... when Wally threw up AIRBALLS in the Conference Championship... I only want to use his contract to trade for a contract I really want... OR ... you bet on Orlando and made another gazillion vBucks

Who would trade for Wally when they can just sign him ?

The Cavs could use him as a sign and trade. i.e. The Cavs could sign Wally to a 10 mil contract with only 2 mil guaranteed and trade that contract to another team for a player with a 10 mil contract. When the other team gets Wally they could cut him and only pay 2 mil to get out from under the contract of the player they are getting rid of. Cavs get a good player and another team saves 8 mil.
