What's so outrageous about a punter obtaining steroids for his teammates? You're a doctorb and you don't know that sometimes people give away their prescription medications illicitly? Looks like you need to go back and take some course on the ramifications of medical ethics....

actually I was referring to the fact that the punter was one of those who took the steroids.

I guess reading comprehension isn't in your bag of tricks.

It didn't say anything about who supposedly took the steroids.....you just assumed since the punter obtained the steroids that he was the (only) one who used the meds....reading comprehension?

Now let's see Congress go after the NFL. Interesting Baseball is getting raked over the coals over steriods since they probable learned everything they knew on taking steriods from the NFL.

I just realized the NFL still does the piss cup method meaning all of the human growth hormones everyone says Barry Bonds did could be used by every NFL player and no one would know about it since the NFL tests wouldn't pick up the stuff.

And the fact that they only test once a year is a huge part of the problem. As soon as a guy gets tested, it's like a green light to go on steroids for the next 9 months or so.

This morning on the ESPN news had (no not an April Fools) a report stating that there is movement to do exactly as you suggest.

Don't know what good it will do though. Frankly the best questions to ask are completely removed from the stoke the coals line most politicians will take. The best questions go to the following topics.
1 On the Prohibition side -- How did players in a league with what is on the paper the toughest testing policy for 'roids in pro sports, get around the test and how do we stop that from happening?
2 On the Science side -- How much do we really know about which drugs are being used, their medium term effects, their long-term effects? How much harm is this actually doing?
3 -- On the Comedy Channel side -- Will we ever see 350 lb linemen again?
