Goofy's 2 Round Mock Draft
I've been doing this every year for about 10 years or so. Critique me or whatever, I don't give a flying poop. Chances are, you'll be wrong anyways
Revised after Seahawks signing of Dyson at CB and a few other tweaks in the late part of the round and Surtain's trade to the Chiefs for their second rounder.
Round 1
<O </O
1 49ers – Alex Smith
2 Dolphins – Ronnie Brown (unless they get an RB in a trade or they trade down, it will be Edwards)
3 Browns – Braylon Edwards (unless someone trades up for him. Then it will be Mike Williams)
4 Bears – Cedric Benson..they go power RB here. Thomas Jones is a complete waste of time and Tim Spencer needs someone bad.
5 Bucs – Cadillac Williams
6 Titans - Mike Williams (unless <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><ST1 Cleveland </ST1 </st1:City>takes him, Antrel Rolle will then be the pick).........Norm Chow's dream pick. They need a WR more than a CB.
7 Vikings - Troy Williamson......draft sleeper. Can spread the field like Moss but 4 inches shorter.
8 Cardinals - Antrel Rolle .... They go with the physical corner.
9 Redskins – Aaron Rodgers ...value pick. Instead of taking Campbell late in the first, they get a gift here.
10 Lions - Derrick Johnson ....the cover OLB they need
11 Cowboys – Shawn Merriman.....heading to the 3-4
12 Chargers - Alex Barron....they get their tackle after passing on them numerous times in the last 3 drafts.
13 Texans – Thomas Davis....Exactly what the 3-4 D needs.
14 Panthers – Jamaal Brown....Gross and Brown will be a killer tackle tandem
15 Chiefs – Adam Jones.....gift of the draft right here.
16 Saints - Travis Johnson...need some inside presense
17 Bengals – Shaun Cody...versatility is what Marvin wants
18 Vikings – David Pollack....they get that rush end to go with Udeze
19 Rams – Khalif Barnes....no one opposite Pace. Can take over if Pace ever leaves
20 Cowboys - Marcus Spears...3-4 conversion complete
21 Jaguars – Carlos Rogers...they need a CB real bad
22 Ravens – Mark Clayton...Goes well opposite Mason
23 Seahawks – Demarcus Ware..Replaces Chad Brown
24 Packers – Brodney Pool...They have no smart safeties at the moment.
25 Redskins – Fabian Washington...solves part of the CB problem.
26 Raiders – Justin Miller...gaping hole on defense is CB
27 Falcons – Erasmus James......Kerney and him could reak havoc
28 Chargers – Reggie Brown...Best available WR with quickest impact
29 Colts – Marlin Jackson...needed CB
30 Steelers – Channing Crowder...they need an MLB to play next to Farrior
31 Eagles – Matt Jones....I heard the Eagles had him in for a special visit this week. I think Reid likes his versatility.
32 Patriots – Chris Spencer....gives them some OL depth at C & G.
Round 2
<O ></O >
33 49ers – Barrett Ruud
34 Browns - Matt Roth
35 Eagles – Jason Campbell
36 Bucs – Roddy White
37 Titans – Stanley Wilson
38 Raiders – JJ Arrington
39 Bears – Heath Miller
40 Saints – Josh Bullocks
41 Lions – Mike Patterson
42 Cowboys – Adam Terry
43 Giants – Dan Cody
44 Cardinals – Ciatrick Fason
45 Panthers – Kevin Burnett
46 Dolphins - David Baas
47 Texans – Odell Thurman
48 Bengals – Donte Nicholson
49 Vikings – Elton Brown
50 Rams – Justin Tuck
51 Packers – Charlie Frye
52 Jaguars – Robert McCune
53 Ravens – Antaj Hawthorne
54 Seahawks – Chris Henry
55 Bills – Marcus Johnson
56 Broncos – Bill Swancutt
57 Jets – <st1:City w:st="on">Bryant McFadden</st1:City>
58 Packers – Wesley Britt
59 Falcons – Mike Nugent….He could be the best kicker in football in that Dome.
60 Colts – Eric Green
61 Chargers – Jovan Haye
62 Steelers – Terrance Murphy
63 Eagles – Marion Barber
64 Patriots – Corey Webster
<O ></O >
Round 3
<O ></O >
65 49ers – Eric Shelton
66 Rams – Brandon Browner
67 Browns – CJ Mosley

That's as good as most of the other ones out there.
In BN27's mock, I got the guys you project as 9, 18, and 25, with picks 11, 20, and 42.

The Jets traded their #26 pick to the Raiders....who will probably take the best CB available.

the only part i can really disagree with is tennesee. they lost their 2 starting corners, so cb is a much bigger concern for them then wr.

Yep... but the mere threat of them taking Williams might help the Browns.

yeah, but CB is very deep in this draft and they are screwed at WR. Makes no sense to get Chow if there are no weapons to work with.
plus the Titans have 10 picks in this draft and Woolfolk at one CB position to at least give them some talent to possibly start.
