Browns Tap Jim Brown's Services
From the enquirer via wire service reports.

Hall of Famer Brown is back working with Browns
Ex-RB says he'll be involved in player development
The Associated Press
<!-- ARTICLE SIDEBAR --><!--ARTICLE BODY TEXT-->CLEVELAND - Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown has rejoined the Browns' front office, doing a variety of things to help develop players and dig the franchise out of its rut.
Brown was a team consultant from 1993-95, before former owner Art Modell moved his franchise to Baltimore. Current owner Randy Lerner flew to Los Angeles last summer and met privately with Brown, discussing a wide-ranging role with the team.
"We're going to do some things in player development, and also do some things in radio and TV," Brown said during a weekend rookie mini-camp.
Brown addressed the rookies Saturday at the invitation of first-year coach Romeo Crennel.
He also criticized running back Reuben Droughns for skipping the team's offseason conditioning program. The Browns got Droughns from Denver on March 30 so he could compete for the starting job, but the running back reportedly wants the final two years on his contract sweetened.
"Emphatically, I would never advise a player to do what he's done," Brown told the Cleveland Plain Dealer for a story published Sunday.

Wonder if Jim will have some special words of wisdom for headcase soldier-boy Winslow?

He must. I mean look how much he helped Clarett get his head screwed on straight.

What? You mean tell him not to participate so that you can plow ahead with your plans of challenging a higher authority to make yourself wealthy..
Why would we ever think you would condone that Jim Brown? Obviously you told Clarett to play for Ohio State and not to sue the NFL, so why would you want Droughns to hold out from Cleveland for more money?

Yeah, this was a great idea the last time they tried this. That is, until the players turned on this asshole, and accused him of spying for management. I don't like this move one bit.
