This just in from Sports center!
Eli Manning's agent is reported, from ESPN's Sportscenter, as saying that Eli would not like to play for San Diego and would prefer to play for New York. I don't have any links that show this in writing, but it was just on the beginning segment of sportscenter! This definatly makes the first pick of this years draft that much more interesting.

I guess the dad has even come out and said he doesn't want the Chargers to draft him as well. Chris Mortenson on ESPN has stated that the Giants have not yet commented on the situation yet.

Here's hoping Eli Manning is a huge bust...
first of all I couldn't stand the guy mainly because of all the unwarranted attention he was getting. He was nowhere near a great college QB but people salivate over him b/c of his last name. Really, if his name was Eli Jones, would he even be a first round pick?
Of course, it looks like he now has Daddy running the shots. what a pathetic loser.

Who the hell does Archie Manning think he is? What a jackass. He should just shut the hell up and be happy that his kid has the talent to even be considered for the NFL. If I were the GM of the Chargers, I'd tell him to go to hell and then I'd draft his kid just to [censored] him off.
