Football Play for Pay Report- Week Ten By Matt Croskey Offensive Player of the week: An unusual award this week but Nick Mangold deserves some recognition. The Jets O-line had a great game against the NFL?s third-ranked run defense as the Jets relied on short gains and long sustained drives. They also handed NE consecutive losses for the first time in 57 games. Defensive Player of the week: AJ Hawk again had a monster game. He compiled some great stats and his play of the game was a jarring hit at the goal line that led to a fumble. Minnesota recovered but it showed that AJ is already an NFL caliber player. Will Allen, S, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Four tackles in loss to Carolina Tim Anderson, DT, Buffalo Bills - One tackle in loss to Indianapolis Rodney Bailey, DE, Pittsburgh Steelers - Did not play in win over New Orleans Bobby Carpenter, LB, Dallas Cowboys - One tackle in win over Arizona Drew Carter, WR, Carolina Panthers - No stats in win over Tampa Bay Nate Clements, CB, Buffalo Bills - Four tackles, one assist, two passes deflected, and one fumble recovered in loss to Indianapolis Na'il Diggs, LB, Carolina Panthers - Four tackles and one assist in win over Tampa Bay Simon Fraser, DE, Cleveland Browns - One pass deflected in win over Atlanta Joey Galloway, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Five catches for 87 yards in loss to Carolina Chris Gamble, CB, Carolina Panthers ? Of note, the Jets O-line had a great game in the trenches against the league's third best run defense. Donnie Nickey, S, Tennessee Titans ? One assist in loss to Baltimore Mike Nugent, K, New York Jets - Kicked a 34 yard field goal and went 2/2 on XPs in win over New England Shane Olivea, OG, San Diego Chargers - O-line gave up three sacks but opened up the run game leading to 107 yards and four TDs in win over Cincinnati Orlando Pace, OT, St. Louis Rams - O-line gave up four sacks in loss to Seattle.
