Buckeyes on your NFL teams
Anyone root hard as hell for Buckeyes to be drafted by your NFL team. I'm a Bills fan and I was ecstatic when they took donte and ashton last year so I can wear my OSU jerseys to NFL games. Anyone else out there have hopes for their NFL team to draft Buckeyes this season?

I want TS to be a Bear. Ginn wouldnt be bad either, the bears could use an explosive WR threat. No way Ginn is still available when the bears pick though.

Gonzalez, Ohio State teammates learning together Sunday, May 6, 2007 5:56 PM CDT INDIANAPOLIS - It's looking a little like home for former Ohio State wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez at the Indianapolis Colts' rookie camp. After selecting Gonzalez in the first round of the NFL draft, the Colts also took two of his college teammates, defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock in the third round and wide receiver Roy Hall in the fifth. The list BB73 posted above contains 60 names from July rosters. Jim Tressel reported today during his call-in show on 1460 that the word he received this week was that 50 Buckeyes survived the final cut-down and made 53-man NFL rosters.
That'd mean Ohio State players account for 3% of all the talent in the NFL that is available to play tonight ... opening night. By a quick count of that list, dropping those players I remember reading being cut, it looks like around 36 to 38 of those 50 Buckeyes in the NFL played at least one year under Tressel (2001-present). |
