Per NFL.com
Adam Schefter's "Around the League" reports and commentaries can be seen regularly on NFL Total Access.
(March 11, 2006) -- Free agency has opened with a flurry. Already, numerous teams are on the board. Take a glance at the deals, and the potential soon-to-be deals.
Cleveland reached agreement with former Seattle wide receiver Joe Jurevicius on a four-year deal worth about $10 million.
Former Minnesota safety Corey Chavous reached agreement with the St. Louis Rams on a five-year deal.
Former Seattle safety Marquand Manuel reached an agreement with Green Bay on a five-year, $10 million deal that includes a $2 million signing bonus.
Denver has reached an agreement to re-sign defensive tackle Gerard Warren to a six-year contract.
Former New Orleans center LeCharles Bentley agreed to terms with Cleveland -- 6 years, $36 million, with a $12 million signing bonus. The deal makes him the highest-paid center in NFL history.
Former Washington tight end Robert Royal has reached an agreement with Buffalo on a five-year, $10 million deal that includes a $2.5 million signing bonus.
Washington and San Francisco are nearing a deal that would send a 2006 third-round pick and a 2007 fourth-round selection to the 49ers for wide receiver Brandon Lloyd. Pending a physical, the deal should be completed before the end of the weekend.
Former Baltimore defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu reached an agreement with Carolina -- 5 years, $23 million, with $8 million of it guaranteed.
Dallas agreed to terms with ex-Detroit guard Kyle Kosier on a five-year, $15 million deal that includes a $5 million signing bonus.
Arizona agreed to terms with ex-Giants defensive tackle Kendrick Clancy on a four-year, $8.1 million deal.
Carolina re-signed RB DeShaun Foster to a three-year deal worth about $14.5 million.
Tampa Bay re-signed FB Mike Alstott to a one-year, $1.5 million deal.
Minnesota re-signed WR Koren Robinson to a three-year, $12.7 million deal that, with options, really is a one-year, $3 million deal.
Green Bay re-signed DE Aaron Kampman.

Damnit!
Trevor Pryce signed with Baltimore...
We really need to start signing some quality front seven personnel.

Confirmation from ClevelandBrowns.com... Jurevicious is on board. At worst Shaffer/Shelton is a wash. I was never impressed with Shelton.

Browns make big splash
By Zac Jackson, Staff Writer
March 11, 2006
As advertised, the Browns made an immediate splash in the free agent market Saturday.
Then another. And another.
The Browns added three free agents, two with Cleveland roots, upgrading the offensive line with LeCharles Bentley and Kevin Shaffer and adding reliable veteran Joe Jurevicius to the receiving corps.
Bentley played at Cleveland St. Ignatius High School and at Ohio State University. Jurevicius was part of two state championship teams at Mentor Lake Catholic High School before going on to play at Penn State.
Bentley, 26, was regarded as one of the top available talents on the free agent market, regardless of position. A two-time Pro Bowl pick and last year's starting NFC Pro Bowl center, he played right guard in 2002-03 and center the last two seasons for the Saints.
Jurevicius, 31, has played in three Super Bowls in his eight NFL seasons, one with each of his previous teams - the Giants, Bucs and Seahawks. He'll be counted on to provide leadership to the Browns' young receivers.
Jurevicius' career totals include 233 catches, 3,010 yards and 30 touchdowns. He had career highs of 55 catches, 694 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2005, his only season with Seattle.
Shaffer, who turned 26 earlier this month, has started 39 of 53 career games at left tackle including all 16 last season for the Falcons.
A seventh-round draft choice out of Tulsa in 2002, Shaffer played six games as a backup tackle as a rookie and made eight starts at left tackle in 2003. He missed just one game in two and a half seasons after taking over as the Falcons' left tackle.

I just heard Cleveland is in talks with Daunte Culpepper. Supposedly they offered Minnesota Dilfer, Suggs, a draft pick, and money. The deal fell through with Oakland.
