that is 1 pick btw. he also had no running game to work with tonight so they had to go with the pass and when you are down 16-3 you think are going to dink and dunk your way against this defense? i really see nothing that validates vick as an "overrated POS". i can admit he isnt the best passer in the league but he isnt a bad passer. NO QB could have stepped in for the falcons tonight and won the game for them. if you tell me tom brady or peyton manning could have stepped in with that same team tonight and won the game with them tonight i will gladly sit back and lmao.

Vick didnt have trouble with the weather 3 years ago in Green Bay, did he?
Ok as I have been saying his ribs are hurt and his knee has been hurt all season, and he has still put up big numbers in some games.

As for the weather in GB, it was barely freezing. It was below zero tonite and there were swirling winds and I am sure that made the hits fell even worse.

I am not saying he played a good game I am just saying that alot of QB's in the same situation are not going to have good games, and if they do well then they probably would of played the game of their season.

Not really the QB's fault.

Did he have bad throws yes, but how many times was he being flushed out of the pocket and how many times did he jsut throw it away. Some times and incompletion is the best pass you can make.
Now it's the winds fault, jesus christ. It was only 11 MPH. Vick should have full responsbility for the 1st INT and 1/2 responsibility for the 2nd INT. He is damn lucky he didn't have 2 other INT's tonight. Who should take the blame for the other 19 incomplete passes? Maybe we will blame Mora for not taking in the smelling salts before the game? Grossman played in the same [censored]ing weather conditions and looked better when he had time compared to when Vick had time. Vick is suppose to make playes when he is flushed out of the pocket. That is what is known for. That is exactly what Roethlisberger did last week against the Bears. He made plays on the run against this defense, which Vick didn't do tonight. The Steelers offensive line has been below average pass blocking this season.

Also I was wondering how you knew he made no pre-snap reads. Do you have mind reading ablility.
Because he looked right at one or two blitzing players several times this season on the left side then the ball was snapped and then he stared down Alge for 5 seconds instead of making the hot read. He made no pre snap reads on these plays, didn't change the play or route.

Dude come on seriously. If you watch the game you clearly see his first INT get held up in the wind. If you don't well I don't know what to tell ya.

Why he should have 1/2 for the second is beyond me. He hit the guy in the [censored]ing chest. I love Jenks more than anyone on this board, but he should of made that catch.(I still think it was a catch)

Well Orton should of had two picks early too, and then Vick wouldnt of had to throw so much b/c the defense would of gave them great field postion if not pick 6 and we would not be having this conversation right now. The condidtions were not good for throwing the football. No matter how you put it.

i agree that the weather prolly had little to do with it. mayeb the change of weather was a very minute problem but still no excuse. you are right that he should have been picked off a couple more times but atlanta has done that all year. he throws a sailer and the receiver comes back to it and goes for the jump ball. the falcons have tall enough receivers to do this and its worked for them in the past. the one pick shouldnt even be counted because well it wasnt a pick and on top of that it was a complete pass. imo i think vick should have ran more tonight but the bears did do a good job of keeping the rush around him so he couldnt scramble out nearly as much.

Not sure if you have ever been in an offensive system, but when the guys blitz like that the recievers are suppossed to cut off their routes and look quick. Maybe he was expecting that, but you don't have to point out the blitz the guys are supppossed to see it and break off their routes. This is the exact reason you do not blitz Peyton Manning b/c the recievers are so good at knowing where to sit down at after the blitz.

I am also pretty positive that he wasnt starring a reciever down for 5 seconds when the blitz was coming b/c the O-line wouldnt of held for that long.

I love the comparison between Vick and Orton. It is the first thing we agree on
Vick = Orton
4 year veteran = Rookie
About sums up Vicks ability as a QB.
