if you believe I am a blind Vick supporter then you either haven't been paying attention or are not very good at reading comprehension. I'll assume it is the first option. As for Tibs comment I don't recall the HOF prediction but you are the master of exaggeration. As for being clueless on this situation, well it makes you look silly. No one has ever argued that Vick doesn't need to improve his passing abilities, he just isn't as awful as some (re: you) make him out to be. |

That in the last sentence is pretty much the answer to the question you pose in your first. He is over-hyped and that rankles some people.
From that premise everything else flows.
EDIT: The rumors being spouted on the radio have it that Vick's "Blank Check" is done this year - he either shapes up or the Falcons move onto Plan B. Any thoughts on that Falcons followers?

Oh, I don't know. Eli had a couple of good games under his belt as rookie, so he got something of a boost - though he fell off the cliff last year. Just give that one time. If Eli continues to under perform the Giants fans will ride him hard.
A better candidate for atrocious over-hype and subsequent recrimination is in the new crop of QBs. You all know his name.

that was the rumor after last season's disappointment. Arthur Blank won't put up with Vick's antics and a mediocre record. I have no problem with letting him go if Atl. gets a viable QB to play in '08. The cap ramifications are less than desirable but you gotta do what you gotta do. I said before I want whatever makes this team better, if it is Brian Brohm, or a veteran just get to the damn play-offs. I am a Falcon fan not a "whatever team Mike Vick is on" fan. |
