Brett Favre (official media fixation)
I don't know about anyone else, but I had a really hard time watching him in that game against Cinci. I'm not a Pack fan, but I have a great deal of respect for Favre, and I feel really bad for him now. I have never seen a QB look as exhausted and utterly defeated as he did after that loss yesterday. The Pack (even without all the injuries) are on the slide. Anyone else think this is his last year? I don't see a reason for him to keep going after this season at this point.

LoKyBuckeye is big Favre fan. He'd have some insight on this.
He's been around forever. He should have called it quits two years ago.

I don't think he'll retire after this year. He's too proud to go out on a losing note. The Packers are very young, and have had a ton of injuries this year, still they are competitive each week. Four of their losses were by a combined total of 9 points, that's 2.25 points a game!! In all their losses they are getting beat by an average of 5 points a game! I don't see that as going downhill at all.

Bull[censored]!!! Favre is 2nd in the NFC in yardage, TD's, and completions. He's also tied for the least number of sacks, with a rebuilt and oft injured O line. I think he can still play a little!!!!! He does lead in interceptions but when you're trying to make up for a lack of weapons, its understandable.

those stats don't mean very much. They have no running game, with their #1 and #2 RBs both injured. His passing efficiency, TD to INT ratio, etc are more useful stats.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. It's getting rather tiresome to hear the media still sucking his dick even though he's basically sucked the last two years in the playoffs. The announcers yesterday kept talking him up despite his 5 interceptions. His flip 5 yards past the line of scrimmage wasn't sad it was downright pathetic.

Passing eff. is 66.8 %. fifth in the NFC. TD to int. is 15 TD and 13 int. but 5 int. were yesterday. Still not terrible, Donte Cullpepper has 6 TD's and 12 int.
