Bend facts?

The guy does dances in the end zone. He mocks opposing DBs. He predicts victories (something most agree is ass-like when Mike Hart does it). He's got gold/silver teeth and mohawk hair. (something that would get him criticized if he were an NBA player.) And yes, he does bitch like TO about his role in the offense. Anyone remember this gem:

"Anybody have the stats for today?" Johnson said in Monday's Cincinnati's Enquirer. "Four - that sucks. You have your best player, and you can't even get him the (expletive) ball. I just go out there and get the job done. But now, all of a sudden, there is a problem this year. How many catches did I get? Four. That (expletive) sucks, too."

Like I said, he's an ass. He's a "me-first" player and any attempt by him to even act like he is humble is just that - an act.

Like I said, he's an ass. He's a "me-first" player and any attempt by him to even act like he is humble is just that - an act.

So having gold teeth and a mowhawk makes him ame first player....right. Just because you have braylon edwards as you best receive no reason to get all jealous.

Beleive what you want to beleive, I have seen him in person a couple of times around town and no not at events that are set up by the team or the nfl and see what he is like thne so I will take my personal expericen with him over anything you have gleamed off of the tv while you wer ewearing a dog mask and eating a milkbone, thanks though.

It's not jealousy I assure you. If Braylon were as good as Chad Johnson, it wouldn't change the fact that Braylon is an ass. I don't care if he puts up 1600 yards next year, Braylon Edwards is a piece of shit, following in the lines of TO and Chad Johnson.

Please. Just because you get excited as a teenage girl at a Justin Timberlake concert when you see him doesn't change his actions or his statements. I do "believe" that you cannot defend the quote I have above - nor can anyone else. That is who Chad Johnson is regardless of how you want to fluff it.

TRhere is no need to defend it, what you stated as reasons are merely you point of view. As far as his exact qoute yeah he said it and he was frustrated. It was after a loss, he felt he helps the team win and he said something that he knew the media was going to run with but he said it anyway. if that one qoute is all then big fucking deal there have been plenty of other times where he has put his team first.

StadiumDorm, why the hard feelings? You've never been frustrated and said such things? Granted, his were televised, but I still am quite sure you aren't spending thousands and giving your time towards charity. I would choose CJ over most players of the same ability because of his desire to win. Frankly, I'm happy that he feels that way, that he wants the ball to help his team win. You have made an invalid assumption that the receptions are the source of his frustration. In the correct context, the quote would appear much differently.

Hart's comments was poor sportsmanship after a loss. Chad predicts victories BEFORE the game, and his team seems to LOVE IT.

Yet Tony Romo seems to think he's a great guy that lifted him up when he was down. He's never had a run in with the law. He plays hard when he is on the field. He wants to win.

Doesn't matter. You can't have tunnel vision only toward some of the good things a player does, while ignoring the actions that show the guy is a showboating dickhead.
