Bengals/Ravens
This team is so fun to watch! Chad Johnson and Carson Palmer are flat out amazing.

I love beating the crap out of the Ravens.
Kyle Boller is the suck.

I thought the Raven's defense was supposed to be good...
Did Tommy Maddox dress as Kyle Boller today?

I'm guessing the thread stopped at 34-0 because we were all too tied to the screen in the 2nd half watching a nearly improbable comeback attempt by the Ravens.
The Bengals gave them all the help they could by letting down their guard. Fumble / Strip of TJ, pick from Palmer returned by the ancient Deion to set up very short field. All of which opportunities were converted by Baltimore.
I'll give the black birds their due, they tried very hard to make this an interesting game.
Thankfully the Bengals woke up from their stupor, and with Rudy Johnson's aid made the score to beat too hard a task, in too little time.
TJ - what can you say, aside from the strip when he was trying to make extra yards he had a career day. Even secured the inevitable onside kick by the Ravens - and thus driving a dagger through their hearts.
Nice also that the network took time to show the post-game speech by Lewis in the locker room.

Carson tried to thread the needle and barely overthrew Henry on Deion's pick...it happens....Palmer is a phenom, tho....he will be the best in the league when Manning retires, gets a few years older, he already has the best arm in the league.
The D, on the other hand, simply got complacent. Marvin will be doing plenty of remodelling over the winter,IMO.
Watching the postgame speech in the lockerroom, Lewis did not speak about the D getting lazy, or the need to play 60 minutes, he simply said they were in the middle of a 3 game divisional stretch and needed to be completely focused on the Steelers. This was the right thing to say at this point in the year-no need to get rah-rah-the D knows what it needs to do, and will adjust thru a normal week of coaching, no need to make a spectacle after a very good game for 2.5 quarters...
