Lock him up and throw away the key. I am completely sick of Chris Henry and he has been given every chance in the world. Good riddance.

A column by Bob Hertzel in the Times West Virginian of Fairmont, W.Va., blames Chris Henry's off-field problems on a lack of discipline by Rodriguez when he coached West Virginia. Henry, a former WVU receiver who was released last week by the Cincinnati Bengals after his fifth arrest, apparently had problems in Morgantown that went unpunished by the WVU coaching staff.
"Multiple sources within the athletic department and football program say Henry was much worse than his public image," Hertzel wrote, "and that public image was never exactly heroic."

Henry suspended pending the outcome of his trial
Associated Press
Updated: June 13, 2008, 6:07 PM ET
CINCINNATI -- Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has been suspended by the NFL pending the outcome of his trial later this month, his agent said Friday.
The Bengals released Henry on April 3 after he was arrested for the fifth time. Henry is scheduled for trial June 24 in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court on charges of assault and criminal damaging. A man accused Henry of punching him in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle.
Henry had received permission from the judge to try out with other NFL teams. Commissioner Roger Goodell has blocked him from doing so until his case is heard, agent Marvin Frazier said. If Henry is acquitted, the suspension could be lifted, Frazier said.

The rollercoaster offseason for former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry took another odd turn Tuesday.
Henry's court case for assault in Hamilton County (Ohio) that alleged he punched an 18-year old in the face on March 31 resulted in a hung jury as the group of eight jurors were unable to reach an agreement.
During the trial, the judge dismissed a second charge of criminal damaging. The Bengals released Henry on April 3 after his fifth arrest since 2005, and last month he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
But for now, the undetermined verdict on the assault charge leaves Henry's playing status up in the air for 2008.
