Who do I want is vastly different than
Who can I realistically get

Kiwanuka or Winston Justice...
I would be very dissapointed if we got a lb in the first round other than aj. There will be some good ones floating around in the 2nd and 3rd.

when people say our secondary is set, i have to respectfully disagree....i think it sucks.....daylon mcutcheon is a nickle back on some teams, leigh bodden isn't impressing me, our safeties arent up to par, brian russell wasn't even worth retaining as a backup in Minnesota, Brodney Pool and Sean Jones are both completely unproven.........i really thought the second round pick we traded for to get sean jones was a terrible decesion, especially with some of the talent still available there
id like to see cromartie in the second maybe, whitner or bing in the 3rd possibly...theres a lot of talent to be had int his draft thats for sure

Bodden played pretty well last season if you ask me, but McCutcheon isnt worthy of being a starter. Russell is probably in the top 2 of worst players on our defense, he definantly needs to go. To put it simply, they need to draft a playmaker.
Anyone remember the Browns game agianst Pittsburgh in Cleveland? Polamalu came on a blitz, and we successfully picked it up and blocked him, but he ended up somehow rolling into the ball-carrier, and tackling him.
Whens the last time you saw a Browns defender make a play like that?

I see the Browns biggest needs as NT, OLB, ILB, LT, and DE. In that order. I'm not 100% sold on Ngata, and frankly, the hole at NT is SO BIG that I expect them to have it solved in free agency (be it a stop gap like Grady Jackson, or a young guy like Ma'ake Kemoeatu), and they can either not grab a NT, or wait and grab one to develop (like the guy from Stanford).
Really, I think that the draft depends so highly on their free agency. They could realistically fill all of their major holes and just take BPA, like Vernon Davis, TE from Maryland or Jimmy Williams, CB, Virginia Tech. They may not have to draft for need. If they do end up taking one of the above positions, I really like Mario Williams. I doubt he's there, but if he is, I like him almost as much as Hawk. It'll be fun, because our draft is going to be hard to predict.

Well, of course free agency will change who I'd like to see drafted. If we get a solid nose tackle, then Ngata won't be a need. But right now, with the team we have, stopping the run should be the first priority.
Also, at the twelve spot, we may just select the best player available. With how bad the Brown's defense is, whoever we select will probably be starting by the end of the year. I'd love Jimmy Williams as well. The kid's a stud.
The Brown's need help all over on defense. Unfortunately, whoever they select with their first pick can only fix one of those needs. If they pick up a nose tackle and a pass rusher in free agency, then mabye the draft a defensive back or an offensive tackle.
