Certainly not his stats. He's in because he continually whined, and he got voted in the last year he was eligible. He's the worst player in the HOF.

Quality not quanity. Watch the Super Bowl highlights. Swann is a classy guy. I don't remember him whining. It was the Pittsburgh media, Myron Cope and Ed Bouchette were lobbying for him to again. He may have said he thought he deserved to get in but I don't know about the whining part. I take whining as what Charlie Waters, Cliff Harris, and Roger Staubach have been doing about getting former Cowboy players in for 20+ years or what Goose Gossage and Bert Blyleven do ever year by going on Sportscenter and whining after the baseball HOF selection.

Because of his HOF highlight films.
I agree that Swannie doesn't deserve it. But does that mean other undeserving players should get in as well. Baseball HOF should let in hundreds of players based on the yankee crap that got in.
Monk rarely ranked in the top 10 in any major receiving category in each year he played. He was only top 10 in catches 3 times which Chad Johnson has already done.

One of my co-workers who was a HUGE Steelers fan growing up (he's 32 years old) got a chance to meet him before an OSU game about 3 years ago that he was doing the sideline reporting for.
My friend was nervous as hell to go meet Mr. Swann but mustered up the courage and went over to shake his hand. Swann refused to shake his hand and said "If I shake your hand then I'm going to have to shake everyone's elses hand." and walked away.
My friend's dad was also a huge Steelers fan and was dying of liver cancer at the time was crushed as well b/c he was right next to my buddy when this occurred.
My friend Jason is no longer a Steeler's fan b/c of that exchange.

That is a shame. Never figured he would be that big of dick to someone. I always heard good stories about him from fellow Steeler fans who got the privlege of meeting him.
