You're implying the NFL is lying?

I'm implying that they can make mistakes too. And that game, from coin to gun, was a mistake.

Of course officials can make mistakes on the field. However, I trust that the NFL, after reviewing a game and coming out with a statement that the officiating is proper, is in a better position to make that statement than any of us. Do you disagree?

I believe they hold the position of saving face after virtually everyone in the country not wearing Black and Gold and some who are calling it the worst officiated Superbowl of all time.

I don't know about that one. Considering the fact that the NFL came out 2-3 days after the Steelers-Colts game and said that the ref made a mistake on the Polamalu call, the NFL doesn't seem to me to be above admitting mistakes when they are made.

Sorry. To refer to that abomination as "properly officiated" is either a discredit to the profession or simply stating that they had the proper number of referees for the game, and nothing more.
Enjoy your title Steeler fans.
