From his glass house ? disguised as a Los Angeles studio ? nationally syndicated Fox Sports Radio talk-show host J.T. the Brick (real name John Tournour) unleashed a barrage of rocks at the Cincinnati Bengals and head coach Marvin Lewis this week.
Calling the Bengals a national embarrassment because of nine player arrests in 12 law-breaking incidents since December 2005, J.T. the Brick blames Lewis for all the nastiness in Cincinnati, saying Lewis should be fired.

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Johnathan Joseph pleaded not guilty yesterday to possession of marijuana. Joseph was scheduled for another hearing Feb. 22 in Boone County District Court in Burlington, Ky.

Quarterback Doug Johnson agreed to a one-year contract Monday with the Bengals, staying to be Carson Palmer's backup.
Johnson hasn't thrown a pass in a regular-season game since 2004. He signed with the Bengals as a free agent last February, when it was unclear whether Palmer would be recovered from reconstructive knee surgery in time for the season.

Nate Kaeding kicked a 21-yard field goal as time expired to cap another strong drive led by the Bengals' Carson Palmer, the MVP of the AFC's 31-28 victory Saturday in the NFL's all-star game in Honolulu.
"It was fun," said Palmer, who passed for 190 yards and two touchdowns, including one to Bengals teammate Chad Johnson. "It was a great, exciting game that came down to the last minute. It was fun for the fans."

Bengals fans should not anticipate much free-agent turnover this offseason, and to prove their point, the club designated defensive end Justin Smith as their franchise player Thursday.
Though he will be an unrestricted free agent March 2, Smith's designation will make switching teams difficult.
