I thought Whisenhunt too,but our friend thinks Grimm will be a better fit! He said Whisenhunt would be too pass~happy!

Whisenhunt would overwork Roethlisberger. The Steelers need a two-back offense (Willie Parker and a big back) that runs the ball 35 times and passes the ball 25- times. I hope that is what we return to, because that is how the Steelers win football games.
Roethlisberger played in 26 games before this year and had 563 passing attempts. He played in 15 games this year and 469 passing attempts.
Roethlisberger's passer rating dropped from a 98.6 to a 75.4, and he threw 3 more interceptions than he had in his entire career. His accuracy dropped from 62.7 to 59.7. His average yards per catch went from 8.9 to 7.5. And he only threw for 1 more touchdown.
Less is more.

Published on: 01/16/07 Chan Gailey might still leave Georgia Tech for the NFL this offseason, but it won't be to go to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers narrowed their list of head coaching candidates on Monday to Steelers assistant head coach Russ Grimm, Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera and Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin.
