So the fins put in their rookie QB in the first preseason game. It was the late second quarter against the Bucs 2nd or 3rd string defense and he goes 5-10 including a nice 20 yard pass. The Miami Herald is already comparing him to Dan.

Somebody, eventually, has to be good enough to accept the Next Marino torch and be able to stand the heat that comes with it. We have been waiting since No. 13 departed with the old century.
The original, Marino himself, was watching from the sideline Saturday. Was he seeing a first glimpse of his rightful successor?

Wayne Huizenga's associates say he wants to sell managing control to Stephen Ross right after the Dec. 28 finale because waiting until after Jan. 1 puts him at risk of paying perhaps $20 million more in taxes in the Barack Obama administration. If Miami makes the postseason, Huizenga might need to sell before a playoff game.
