I highly doubt it. Not worth the problems, and he has proven inefficient as of late. BTW, I have high hopes for Hagan.

The Dolphins terminated the contracts of DE Kevin Carter and OG Jeno James today. The also tendered the contracts of S Yeremiah Bell, WR/KR Wes Welker, QB Cleo Lemon and P Donnie Jones. Cam is definitely in overhaul mode which looks like we're heading for a youth movement in a lot of areas. This only makes the draft that much more of a mystery in my opinion. Heres the link.

Patriots trade for Miami WR Welker
Quote:
Spurning the risk that would have come with signing Miami receiver/returner Wes Welker to a restricted-free-agent offer sheet, the New England Patriots instead acquired Welker on Monday afternoon for two picks in the 2007 draft.
Signing Welker to the offer sheet would have meant Miami could have matched the offer and kept him or that it could have let New England acquire Welker in exchange for a second-round pick only. Instead, the Patriots will surrender their second- and seventh-round choices. It's also likely under this scenario that New England will have to lay out less cash to sign Welker long term.

It's a late second rounder and we have 2 firsts this year, so it doesn't hurt us that much... And we are getting a proven commodity vs. a rookie that will have a learning curve...

With the way the Dolphins have been pissing away 2nd round picks lately for A.J. Feeley and Daunte Culpepper (I guess the jury is still out on Daunte though), it is nice to see Miami actually pick up an extra 2nd rounder for a change...

Do you guys think this makes it more of a possibility that we take Ginn if he is available?

Yes. If he is available, there is no way we don't take him. Unless, unless, Cameron goes for Quinn, but I don't see it. He may take a QB in the Second round with one of the two second rounders we have.
