The jury is still out on the Allen pick from last year. He's definitely more of a safety in my opinion than corner though.
I'm hearing Ugoh is more of a project at tackle for the NFL now that the draft is over. The Dolphins are moving Vernon Carey over to left tackle this season so the pick in Satele should pay off for us early if Carey makes it at tackle.
I didnt want to pick Quinn #9 because I knew we wouldnt get Ginn if we did and Ginn will end up making an immediate splash, ala Reggie Bush this season. Now in hindsight if we would've traded up and picked Quinn like Cleveland did, everyone would have said "the Dolphins draft was outstanding" instead of second guessing the picks. I truly believe that Beck is going to be an excellent pro quarterback if he doesnt get killed in the first year or two.
I would've liked to get Pittman before the running back from Hawaii though. Kind of a mistake there imo. The defensive backfield will be better this year because the pass rush will be better. Taylor is unblockable one on one and Porter should give him some help on the blitz. If we get anything out of the interior Dline the defense should again be excellent. Hand the ball to Ronnie Brown and spread the field with Ginn and Chambers. I'm predicting 10-6 with a wild card berth for my early predictions. After summer camp I'll revisit where I think we are then.

Hey I think The RB Mauia from Hawaii is actually a FB. I read some where That his Jr. season he was over the 300 pounds. But got down to 275 his SR. Somebody Left an iteresting You Tube Link Last page. I wasn't impressed that he ran through drywall. But I was impressed at how a 275 pound Somoan can have no body fat. This is true a big scarey looking individual. I don't know if that translates into a good player but damn.
Ya I would have liked Pittman Instead of that RB from Florida State.

Mini Camp II opened today and Teddy was there on the field. When drills started he rode the stationary bike though.
Duante Culpepper looks great! He's lost about 15 pounds or so and looked pretty cut. His upper body looks very strong and no limping was noticable on the knee. It appears he's taken that advice on losing some weight to heart and hopefully his knee will be ready to go.
Beck looked impressive in his passing drills today. We got a good one!
The fullback from Hawaii is huge and has very quick feet.
We'll see after this week where we stand with the skill players.
Porter has taken to Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor like they're old high school buddies thus far. That sounds like trouble for opposing offenses......
more to come.

Ticket crunch beginning for game at Wembley
NEW YORK (AP) -- The grousing by some NFL fans over the first regular-season game to be played overseas might not be limited to this side of the Atlantic. More than half a million ticket requests poured in soon after commissioner Roger Goodell announced the New York Giants would play the Miami Dolphins at the new Wembley Stadium in London.
