Dolphins Tidbits...
I may be the only Dolphins fan on this site but anyone wishing to discuss Miami football is welcome.
The addition of a once thought "done" former Buckeye, Dan "Big Daddy" Wilkinson seems to have rejuvenated the defensive line. That is great news for Zach Thomas and the linebackers. The defensive backs are obviously the weak link to the defense but the front seven could be outstanding.
Daunte Culpepper has had an amazing recovery and looks very good in preseason action as well as Joey Harrington. I believe the Dolphins could have one of the best passing attacks in football if the line holds up and that takes a lot of pressure off of Ronnie Brown. Thoughts from anyone else?
Just noticed I misspelled Dolphins in the title and cant change it now. Doh!!

From the Florida panhandle no less! The Jets won't win 4 games this season. The 'Phins are playoff bound!

Theres a good chance that the Dolphins will be looking at some Buckeyes in this draft. More word is that Cam Cameron really likes Teddy Ginn. I would suspect that the 'Phins will go O-line or DB with the first pick but TGII is an interesting option.
The Dolphins just signed Vonnie Holiday to an extension and are reported to be really scouring the FA market. Ginn would give the Dolphins an exciting compliment to Chambers, and Booker in 3 WR sets. Now who will throw the ball to them is, and has been, the biggest issue.

I just want to say this. I want to say it gently but I want to say it firmly: There is a tendency for the world to say to America, "the big problems of the world are yours, you go and sort them out," and then to worry when America wants to sort them out.

Yeah like 10 minutes after I posted that one Culpepper goes down for the season.
The Oline is still a sieve I think and RB didnt have the kind of year I thought he'd have. The D looked very good late in the year, just need a lockdown corner. I was actually hoping Teddy Ginn in the first round and Hughes (Cal) in the second round. Hey I wouldn't complain about getting Troy Smith in the second either but I think his combine is going to shoot his draft status up a little farther.

Bye Bye Harrington. The Dolphins are going to release Joey Harrington, no big surprise. That frees up close to $5 million dollars for free agent signings which Cam Cameron has been making statements regarding SD G Kris Dielman. Looks like Cam is coming in trying to beef up the offense. Good. Also could mean I'll get to see Teddy Ginn in Orange and Teal for about 10 years!!!!
