hall is very overrated. He had a terrible game against us this year. he was mediocre in senior bowl practices too. I could really see him being a bust in the nfl. he isn't very fast and guys can separate themselves from him fair easily.

ginn is overrated as well imo. yes, hes a game breaker, but gonzo runs better routes than him, and his hands aren't very good. he really wasn't that great on kick returns this year either. i really like him as a player, but theres much more to being a WR than blazing speed.

I think Ginn's upside is that, even as a bust, he should be a huge return threat and be able to contribute as #2 receiver (worst case scenario), not to mention the ways you can line him up. Basically his versatility makes him a safer "bet" for a lot of teams.
Gonzo is a straight up receiver, and I think he'll do very well, but if he doesn't turn up as a WR he can't really contribute in other areas like Ginn can.

he really didn't do that well on kick returns this year though....he definitely has the potential to bust open huge plays though.

i really want to see him do well, but his drops are really going to hurt him early on. who knows though, santanio looked downright AWFUL at times this year, but he really turned it on at the end of the year.

You mean he didn't have many TDs returning? His average was pretty good and I can remember at least 2 TDs. This while teams avoided kicking the ball his direction like it was the plague. Why do you think we started putting Gonzo back there with him on punts? Ginn shows great promise as a return man, and I think GMs will see that.

Dropping the ball didn't seem to be an issue this year. It will be a lot of hard work for him to become an impact WR in the NFL, but the potential is there and he's shown great work ethic learning the position in 3 years, being in the spotlight.
