The first full mock draft By John Murphy, Yahoo! Sports
February 8, 2007
10. Atlanta Falcons ? Ted Ginn Jr., wide receiver/return man, Ohio State. Bobby Petrino has been successful at every stop along the way, using a variety of schemes, formations and, most importantly, playmakers in a variety of roles. Ginn has been outspoken in his desire to play some defense at cornerback, so he'll fit right in with the Falcons' other elite playmakers in cornerback DeAngelo Hall, running backs Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood, and quarterback Michael Vick.

The only problem with that mock is that they have Joe Thomas getting past the Lions (not happening) and they have the Browns drafting Alan Branch...
I don't think Thomas gets past Detroit and if he does, I think Cleveland takes him immediately.

Damn, that Yahoo! sports mock draft is horrible. Adrian Peterson at the sixteenth pick, eight spots after Marshawn Lynch is not going to happen.

I think sometimes people/networks make their predictions bold and different SOLELY to be different. I bet a million dollars the clown(s) who came up with that doesn't believe that AP will be taken 16th. What a crock.
Then again, I remember one Buckeye back who went around 16th who wasn't so bad as an NFL'er.

I agree with you about Thomas going to the Browns if he's available. But you really think they will pick Alan Branch?
I've been looking at Todd McShay's mock draft on ESPN.com. He has Raiders grabbing Russell; Detroit and Quinn; Cleveland and Thomas; Tampa Bay and Calvin Johnson.
My opinion is Detroit will grab Thomas and the Browns with get Calvin. I'm sorry you can't pass on the best player in the draft.
Another thing I don't see the Browns drafting a CB. I got hammered when I said they needed a CB. I see them looking at Samuel in FA or maybe Nick Harper.

No - honestly if they don't take Thomas I fully expect them to take Peterson for no other reason than to get a name player in the franchise.
