I wish rookie contracts were set up like the NBA rookie contracts, where the money is slotted to each pick. Then a bunch of unproven rookies don't get huge contracts till they actually prove themselves.

All this talk of where Quinn should have gone in the draft and all that other BS really means nothing now.....everyone in the NFL must earn their spot....Quinn will get the opportunity to win the QB job. With who the Browns have right now.....I am betting he starts this year. I am not sold on Frye or the other back-up.

I have to second this notion

Quite possibly.. but supposedly frye is "game-day" player ( not last year, but in his defense he will have a much much better line and should have a much better ground game to help keep them honest) and Derek Anderson has the best arm and it is apperantly even more obvious with the new offense.. we'll see how pre-season goes but if today was game 1, i think the depth chart would be:
1.) DA
2.) CF
3.) BQ
All reports are that brady isn't ready yet, hold out wont help his bid either

I think Charlie will start unless he completely plays like [censored] in the preseason. Anderson has a cannon arm, but does not perform as well in game situations, that will cause him to be holding the clip board. I am just not sure it will be in Cleveland. I have a feeling that whoever does not start, either CF or DA, the Browns will attempt to either trade one of them or release one of them. I can't see them putting Brady at 3rd String. Just my opinion.
