Nice, greenies from this Watterson grad for you!
I cant see any reason a kid who wants to be a big school college QB would ever go to Watterson, we run, run, and run some more.
We might throw a 40+ yard pass, then an insane fade route, then run run run.

Thanks, strohs. I figured it had to be the wing offense at Watterson.....The eagles have been running wing variations for decades, even back when I was at Watterson in the late '60s....Not the kind of offense for a throwing qb like Brady Quinn. Go Bucks! Go Eagles!

Is that 247 the total school population or just the seniors? Also, is it co-ed?

Just the senior class in 2004-05, BuckinMichigan. Bishop Watterson is a co-ed Division II school with an enrollment of 1160 or so. It's the largest Catholic high
school in the Columbus diocese.

Thanks for the info. I assumed the school had to be larger than 250 kids, but I know nothing about Columbus Catholic schools.

money was not an issue with the three quinn families (brady, chris, laura)

interesting test scores. i still stand with my statement about the dublin school district. look at state testing it holds its own with any public school district.

anyone who has never had the pleasure to meet brady is missing out. as good as hes been on the field this year he is that good or better of a person.

Of course dublin has excellent schools.
The majority of the city has mucho dinero, and pays high taxes to keep those schools good.

It also helps that the average age of someone living in Dublin is somewhat young compared to other districts, say like my hometown Gahanna. Our city was fairly old and therefore we had trouble passing levies. Dublin rarely has this problem.

I'm sure Coffman, Scioto, and Jerome are fine public schools. Your comment about Watterson's "decline," however, has absolutely no foundation in facts. That Watterson's enrollment has been rock solid for more than 50 years is testament enough to the academic quality and reputation of the school. There is, as well, a legacy of football excellence at Watterson that began with a 1966 coaches' poll state championship (Watterson 32 Upper Arlington 0) and has continued through the years of the Harbin ratings. Brady probably would have had many more yards running than passing had he chosen to attend Watterson, I admit, but he'd also have had a leg up on some of the theology classes he has to take at Notre Dame.
