I agree that Ralphie is an offensive wizard. But he's still coaching a second tier team. I'd like to see Norm at Texas or Florida (anywhere outside the Big 10), maybe even ND.
I think their recruiting will suffer next year due to the success it had this past season- at least at most skill positions where they landed the depth there. Look at what Maurice did to us by being so successful his freshman year. No RBs wanted to come here and sit behind that guy for 2 or 3 yrs.
If USC's offense is good I'm going to beat the Norm Chow drum all year.... Ooohhh... what if he went to UCLA? ouchie. That's like Bo going to... nevermind.... ouch.

My guess is they will sell it as --- look at how many freshman we play, come to USC and you will play as a freshman too....suppose we'll see.

Dwayne Jarrett was pretty ineffective last night. Freshman are still freshman, it seems. I'm sure he'll settle down eventually and become a very good WR, but it wasn't last night. He may have the kind of year Ryan Moore had for Miami last year.. Not great, but not bad.

The announcers said 7 true frosh were slated to play for the condoms. Combine that w/ their JUCO recruits, and almost half of their recruiting class will see the field this year. They need the wRs, because in addition to Williams, they also lost Whitney Lewis to academics. boo hoo....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Jarrett seemed a little shakin by everything and vtechs corners played pretty physical against him. He'll be ok but heres hoping lyons and dukes lets us forget about jarrett and davis.

From what I saw of Jarrett last night he has a slight case of alligator arms. If the corners come up and stick him, he will drop it. As he grows in size and experience I'm sure that he'll fix that problem.

Man It is too bad, he is a really big target. The Scarlet and Gray would have loved to have him.
Forget about him falling on his face all of you haters he is going to be something else. I hope we get to smack him around, but in the Pac 10 where they have yet to invent defense (outside of a mild version at USC) he will put up rediculous numbers and be a High #1 Round Draft pick. The only thing that could stop him is injury.

KillerNut,
why would anybody want Jarrett to fail? He didn't do anything to OSU.

I know one person for sure that wants him to fail.
I don't keep up with recruiting as much as most do here, but from what I understand he told Coach T the day before signing day that he was going to sign with the Bucks, and then he went to USC instead.
