I can see the Tuna possibly working a deal with the Cowboys and trading his #1 pick for their two picks in the first round. Not sure how the value points would work out but I agree that Parcells will not keep the 1st pick.

Plus you have to remember that teams do draft what they need and who they value - exactly as jlb stated earlier.

Surprising, considering he seemed set to stay not too long ago.
I think that Smith would have definitely benefitted from another year in college to make a bigger name for himself, and to develop further.

The mileage Smith has already gotten is more than most rookies get in the NFL. Seriously, he cannot take the risk of being injured when he gets as many touches as he does.
He'll probably be a high second rounder/3rd round pick....I say it's worth coming out now while his stock is somehwhat high and he's pretty healthy
