'Inside the NFL' moves from HBO to Showtime
Quote:
HBO doesn't make too many mistakes, but when it did make one, it didn't take long for Showtime to take advantage of it.
"Inside the NFL," which was canceled after a 30-year run on HBO, has been picked up by Showtime. CBS Sports will produce the program along with NFL Films. Showtime is owned by CBS Corp.
The show will air each Wednesday throughout the season starting Sept. 10. The hosts for "Inside the NFL" will be announced soon, CBS said. There figure to be significant changes in the talent lineup since previous host Bob Costas and analyst Cris Collinsworth are with NBC and Cris Carter has moved to ESPN.
