I hope you are right. I liked what I saw of him vs dallas this past year. He has some good pieces around him in ryan grant, driver, jennings, jones, etc...We will find out real soon this fall if he has what it takes.

Aaron Rodgers told the media at the team's annual Fan Fest that he embraces the opportunity to follow Brett Favre as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. Matt Tevsh was at Rodgers' press conference Saturday and offers his thoughts
This weekend marked the start of sorts for the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay. No, the Green Bay Packers were not playing, practicing, or even preparing. They were hosting their annual two-day Fan Fest at Lambeau Field, and the spotlight guest on hand was Rodgers, making his first public appearance since Brett Favre officially retired........

tell me about it. i was just thinking that the date of favre's last regular season start was december 30 and that was the day i turned 30. ive watched him play from the time i was in junior high till now. thats just crazy to think about. oh well, here's to new beginnings for favre and the green bay packers!

you and me both apache. i like the pieces that are around him but it all starts with the qb. can he handle being the man in the spotlight? i sure as hell hope so or the nfl will be even that much less appealing to me. i love the packers but it would suck if they fell back into what they were in the 70's and 80's where an occasional 8-8 season was a success. *shudder*
