The Jacksonville Jaguars, who took steps to upgrade their offense on Friday, turned their attention to the defensive side Saturday, signing unrestricted free agent cornerback Drayton Florence. The five-year veteran had spent his entire NFL career with the San Diego Chargers, where he appeared in 74 games, with 43 starts.
Florence, 27, was regarded by many as the second-best cornerback in the unrestricted free agent pool, after only former New England standout Asante Samuel, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.

Should help the browns, but overpaid for Stallworth (or at least what I think he's worth... perhaps that the market now).
Looks like the browns have two playmakers at DT now... shaun rogers is a heck of a guy to bring off the bench or use as a role player.

That they are. We'll see if Jerry Porter is the answer at WR.

I think Shaun will be well more than a role player. He fits what we are trying to do extremly well. He plays the run and pass very effectively, and shouldn't have a problem with weight in our system. The 4-3 in Detroit is more conducive to a quick DT whereas we won't mind too much if he playing at 330-340.
I think our defense has gotten a whole lot better, especially if we can make 1 more move to solidify the secondary.

Outside linebacker Calvin Pace has agreed to terms with the Jets on a six-year deal worth $42 million, including a $20 million signing bonus, according to ESPN.com.
Pace, who spent his first five seasons with the Cardinals, visited Miami and the Jets.
The contract is staggering considering Pace started just six games in the three seasons before last year. He became a starter last year after Chike Okeafor was injured in the preseason.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
This will turn out to be one of the biggest blunders of all time. Pace was a joke... the apitimy of draft busts....We pass on Terrell Suggs and land Calvin Pace and Bryant Johnson. The Jets done lost their minds. Faneca, great signing... but Calvin freakin Pace, PA-Lease.

Looks like even if the Dolphins don't improve in any way whatsoever the Jets will manage to find a way to sink to the bottom of the AFC East.
