Where did you get that? That said, I didn't think Anderson played that horribly Sunday and while he isn't the answer, the whole freaking organization needs to be re-done. Quinn is going to get his ass beat for a team that I think has already quit. |

I'd say it has to be a lock....Romeo would love for BQ to come out and light the world on fire, so maybe he can save his job. Ths is the time of the year, that Head Coaches pull these moves to point fingers at problems other than them.

Browns have made it clear: This is not their year, says Terry Pluto
f you are a Browns fan, the 37-27 loss to Baltimore may be the worst game of this discouraging season.
A 27-13 lead at home in the third quarter. Then ... nothing. Then ... Baltimore scored the next 24 points. Then ... the Browns dropped to 3-5. Baltimore was missing three starters in the defensive backfield and star running back Willis McGahee. Derek Anderson plays his best at home in good weather. Those were the conditions Sunday at Browns Stadium. Good teams just don't lose a game like this. In fact, average teams don't do it. "We couldn't muster up enough energy to win the game," said Romeo Crennel. Coach, not enough energy? . . . continued Entire article: Browns have made it clear: This is not their year, says Terry Pluto - Cleveland.com |

Okay, I know that I have been calling for Quinn to start but I think starting him this Thursday is a little unfair to him since this will be an extremely short week for preparation. I think he will at least generate some enthusiasm in Brown Stadium and hopefully in the team. If he does not perform that well this Thursday, that is fine with me as long as he gets some more starts in the following weeks. Anderson has played half the season and now Quinn can play half the season and then Savage can make his decision. I hope everyone does know that Savage determines the 53 man roster and not Romeo.

I think this is a move they need to make. Anderson hasn't played bad and still has value. They need to know what Quinn can do so they can make a decision this offseason. If Quinn comes out and plays better they trade Anderson. If he's a bust they bring Anderson back and either get rid of Quinn or leave him as the backup.
