Cleveland Browns OTAs are off and running

Observations from the Browns organized team activity practice:
? On the very first play of team drills, the starting defensive front was Corey Williams, Shaun Smith and Robaire Smith. The inside linebackers were Andra Davis and Leon Williams because D'qwell Jackson was absent while honeymooning. The starting cornerbacks were Eric Wright and Daven Holly.
? Defensive lineman Shaun Rogers later conceded that he's going through a learning period at both nose tackle and end in the Browns' 3-4 system.
? Rookie draft picks and undrafted free agents can't participate in OTAs until May 16.
? Other players absent besides Jackson were Kellen Winslow, LeCharles Bentley and Kenny Wright. Winslow's absence could be a precursor to a contract dispute. Other players not fully healthy to participate -- Steve Heiden, Joe Jurevicius and Gary Baxter -- were in the facility working with trainers.
? Defensive lineman Shaun Rogers is wearing No. 92. With all the concern about his weight, Rogers looks a lot more svelte than the previous player wearing that number, Ted Washington. Actually, Rogers looks a lot better than he did in his last year in Detroit.
? Derek Anderson's first two passes in team drills were intended for newly acquired receiver Donte Stallworth. The first was on the money, the second was not. Establishing a rapport with Stallworth, the team's No. 2 receiver, evidently will be a goal during this portion of the pre-season.
? The difference in the offense compared to a year ago at this time was palpable. One year into the Rob Chudzinski system, everyone was more confident and the result was crisper throws and routes

Sort of surprised that Kenny Wright is still on the roster.
Article also mentioned that it is a big training camp for Traves Wilson who made one nice catch during drills but dropped two other balls that were thrown his way.
