2009 NFL draft prospects
After hearing for the umpteenth time about how great USC has been in this draft (and the snide comment about how Ohio State only had 1 drafted at the time), I decide to list Buckeyes who will be draft prospects next year:
Locks:
Beanie (if he declares)
Robiskie
Boone
Laurinaitis
Jenkins
Freeman
Wilson (if he leaves)
Probable:
Nicol
Rehring
Possible:
Pretorius
MoWells
Boeckman
We could have as many as 12 Buckeyes drafted in the 2009 draft.

Some team will take a 2nd day flier on O'Neal and Terry for their measurables.
Boeckman is more than 'possible' at this point. Sure he could drop (like Brohm did over one year), but he's an top senior qb on draft boards. (Note, I'm not saying Boeckman's on Brohm's level, simply comparing the enormous hit his stock took since preseason 2007)
I'd add Trapasso as possible before Pretorious.

Plus, I think the first five of your Locks will go in the first round along with the possibility of Boeckman which will make it even sweeter.

Yeah, some mock had JL, Jenkins and Beanie in the top 5. Now that would be awesome. All the OSU guys sitting in that room in NY taking their turn on the big stage. Next years draft will be much more fun to watch!
