Stuckey always looks good in the preseason...he might just be a guy who is waiting for an opportunity, and I imagine he'll get one. I wouldn't blow him off yet...he won't be a #1, but he could fit nicely into the rotation.

Stuckey has some ability. Don't overlook him...his production has actually surpassed stonehand's so far this year. As for the draftday trade rumors, nobody knows exactly what was on the table, but I can see why he wasn't dealt. Stonehands was the only "legit" recieving threat on the roster. On top of that, he was going into a contract year. Mangini and Kokanis had every reason to believe he'd put in the work to have another good year. Obviously, that wasn't the case. He still drops almost everything that hits his hands and has loafed at times on the field. Now he goes out and decks a midget friend of LeBron's at 2:30 in the morning. His hours were numbered the moment he cocked his fist.

Now the question is, does he just need a change of scenery and break out in an offense that can actually move the ball? Or does he continue to loaf and drop everything thrown his way? Who knows. One knock on him has been that his passion is for everything that being an NFL player brings off the field vice the actual game. If that's true, he's doomed in NYC.

Amen. Edwards wasn't going to do shat for the remainder of his tenure in Cleveland. I'm glad we got something for him. Two players and two draft picks. More than what we would have got at the end of the year. I do not care if he goes lights out in New York. He would not have done the same in Cleveland. PERIOD. It does appear that the rebuilding process has begun. This team I truly believe is at the bottom of the barrel. Question is who will we draft in the 1st round next year, QB or RB? Both are dire needs.

Anderson is the starting QB and Quinn has shown to be useless. They might be able to trade Quinn for a low pick, but it wouldn't be much value. At this point it's probably better just to keep them both on the roster for the rest of the season. I actually get much enjoyment watching Quinn ride the bench. Karma is a bitch.

Now they just need to go with Anderson until they can find a real QB sometime in the next year or two and then let Anderson walk to remove any doubt. It's time to end the QB controversies.

This move made my season. Edwards is a bum. You take yourself with yourself. He won't do [censored] in NY. You can't just switch that kind of thing on. Couldn't catch and an attitude problem at Michigan, couldn't catch and an attitude problem in Cleveland...

Well one thing's for certain, Braylon gets to go and play on MNF the first game, so the whole wrold will be watching. He's got to be thinking how great it will be, playing for a contender on MNF, right up until his hands of lead let him down once or twice and NY talk radio lights up. I don't know anything about the Jets, but he'd better hope Stuckey wasn't a popular player with the fans, because if he comes in with his prima donna attitude and his limp dick work ethic and replaces a popular guy with [censored]ty production, it's going to be that much worse.

My guess is that nobody would want Quinn's contract, even for a low pick:

There is a precedent there, the Browns picked the late Eric Turner #2 overall in 1991. Turner was a very good player, but didn't necessarily produce at the level he was picked. That said, Berry is probably the best college safety I've ever seen. If he can be 75-80% of the player Ed Reed is in the NFL, assuming the Browns are picking top-3, I say take him.

As much as I'd love to have a playmaker like Berry in the secondary (nice rythme) I believe our skill position and the right side of our Oline would be a more pressing need.
