I'll give you that, and I'd like to see a gamebreaker on defense myself.

But - I want another RB on this roster not named Lewis or Harrison who could contribute in the rookie year and build towards a possible franchise status back.

Not sure if Davis is that guy...

I don't think he is. But, history shows, very good-great backs can easily be found outside of round one. To me, the only way a rebuilding team should go RB is if it is a stone-cold homerun...like an Adrian Peterson. I don't really see anybody like that next year.

I guess it depends on where we pick and what underclassmen decide to come out. I'm not convinced there's any franchise QBs in the potential group of draftees. There are some good defensive prospects though...and probably a number of WRs too.

Agreed about the QB's. Bradford - maybe.

If Anderson can cut down on the dumb turnovers and improve the midrange to short throws I dont see a reason he couldn't be our long term solution.

We have some nice backs that should be in the upcoming draft, nabbing a home-run threat reciever which is what this team now needs more than ever.

There's just so much that needs attention its hard to prioritize. The extra draft picks help and maybe Braylon plays well for the Jets and that 3rd round pick becomes a 2nd round (pretty sure it was conditional)

If they aren't in a position to get an immediate difference maker near the top (say they pull a miracle and win a couple games dropping them in the 3-5 range), then I'm all for trading down and stockpiling picks. This team has so many holes, that may be the best strategy. They've already added some extra picks from the Winslow and Stonehands trades, so they have that going for them, which is nice-ish.

There are a lot of really bad teams this year: Browns, TB, STL, SEA, KC, DET, OAK, CAR...so the competition for the top couple picks should be fierce.

Nothing like being a Browns fan and talking draft in the first week of October.
