and had nothing to do with his past....

So let me get this straight, he "wasn't supposed to be home" yet the "burglar(s)" kicked open the bedroom door and fired two shots at him? That makes no sense at all.
|
These are prolly the same people that was their the week before..Sean had a safe in his bedroom..The first time they werent able to break into it..So this time they came back thinking Sean was outta town with his team and came with the right tools to get into it. So they already know where it was at, They went straight for it and where shocked when they kicked down the door that Sean was on the other side with a knife. Then fired from reaction and got out of there.
shame

The family member referenced in some reports is his sister. His sister lived at his house - pretty much full time. Her boyfriend (and soon to be baby-daddy - OUCH) - is from Fort Myers - and he is bad news. He was talking to friends in Fort Myers (the 4 who were arrested) - and they went over to rob the place. They didn't expect him there - and they shot him.
Sean Taylor did not know them. Sean shared the same mother (who is bi-polar / serious mental problems) - but not father. The police chief is not her father.
So the hand wringing about Sean's past coming back to haunt him wasn't true. It was (even more tragically) FAMILY!
You may not believe it - and I am new to this board (being a Bengals fan) - but it is true. In that he was a Skin - I figured you guys should be one of the first to know.

In life, and in death, Taylor was a natural mystery

MIAMI -- The school is not what it seems. It sits on 30 acres of manicured land near condos and bird-watchers. The folks at Miami Douglas MacArthur South, an alternative high school full of inner-city kids and at-risk teenagers, have a saying: Even good kids can make bad decisions.
Nobody really knows why Sean Taylor showed up one day in February. He was like that, often leaving people guessing. He'd done speaking gigs at schools around the Miami area as penance for one of his own questionable decisions, but this trip was voluntary.

Maybe I am sensitive to this case because I have a daughter the same age as Taylor's...and I can't imagine his daughter growing up w/out her father...
