Bills fire OC Turk Schonert right before the end of preseason, promote former backup Alex Van Pelt. Not looking good for Jauron's playoffs-or-bust season

This preseason has been a complete disaster for the Bills. I don't see anyway this year is going to be good, thus no way Jauron keeps his job at the end of the year. I wouldn't mind hiring Jon Gruden or Mike Shanahan for next year. I think a tough guy like Gruden would be a great fit in a blue-collar city like Buffalo, the fans would love him.

Title says it all. Finally.
Bills finally fire Jauron - AFC East Blog - ESPN DC Perry Fewell should be a particularly worthless interim replacement, and I can only imagine what kind of sad-sacks will be cycled in for interviews in the coming months. Go Bills! ![]() |

Thank god we got rid of him. A magic 8 ball would be an improvement of Jauron.

I guess having Bud Adams give him the double bird was the last straw for Ralph Wilson. Those old boys have been going at it for 50 years.
