that is laughable.
More yards rushing than anyone & more touchdowns rushing than anyone in the history of football...
let's just cover our eyes to the facts.
oh yeah.... 3 super bowl rings....
and probably the biggest one.... durability.....
1. Emmitt
(there is such a large gap I have to space it out)
2. Walter
3. Barry
4. Brown

Thanks for the memories Emmitt, I say this as a long time Cowboys fan. Emmitt is the pure definition of class on and off the field, much like Michael Jordan was. It's saddening to see one of the all time great hang em up.

Quote:
``Did you see my year last year? Do you think I'm ready to retire?'' Smith said in a report on the newspaper's Web site Tuesday.
Smith rushed for 937 yards and nine touchdowns this season. He has 18,355 yards overall and 164 TDs. He was the league's most valuable player in 1993. He said on Monday night that he wanted to retire as a member of the Cowboys, the team with which he won three Super Bowls.

I am suprised he is saying he is not ready to retire, I thought ESPN was always correct?
