This should answer questions about his athleticism, certainly looks taller than 6'3 too.
Mike Gesicki #45 Southern Basketball - Sophomore Highlights - YouTube
We have a RS sophomore on scholarship. Not a huge fan of a LS on scholarship(although I can understand it) but people are crazy if they don't think we need to put a kicker and punter on scholarship. Urban's special teams were as good as you'd find at Florida for a reason and we need to get that...
Good breakdown 86, Curtis Samuel is the only guy I'd put on there if predicting today but overall agree almost entirely. Plus the kicker from Walsh Jesuit.
Most important thing will be getting Jones and Mavety plus a Knox or Prince.
Sounds like we are in really good shape but few talk about this kid.
Big framed kid that could potentially grow into a H-Back with a 4.52 electronic 40 and 36'' vertical. Not to mention his dad was a former big time tight end and now NFL coach.
Maybe it's just me but I think this kid would...
It's scout/rivals/espn/247.
They are just using the 247 ranking to measure his composite.
There have been some flaws in it(Marcelys Jones was composite #75 or something when he was a 3* on rivals/scout for 2 months) but it's a decent gauge and shows they respect other sites evaluations as well.
Bournival seems like a nice guy but lacks a clue. Urban said we'd go 20+ in 2014, don't make a mock class for 17 and without a kicker or punter. Don't think that is too much to ask for.
Think Allen is a better passer than Barker and other 2 are much better runners with pretty good arms. I would have been fine with Barker but can't say based on a highlight tape who is the best of the bunch. Coaches did their hw, all I think I can ask for. That and landing 1 of them.
Defense wins championships.
If he can play corner at an elite level and all indications are that he can, I say let him play where he wants.
I like where we are at corner but we still lose 3 starters next year and also wanna be DB U again tbh.
Either way, this kid is ridiculously talented.
Can see why the coaches like him just from those short videos. Technique needs significant work but really athletic for a kid that size and high reward if he keeps growing and puts it together. Would love to land him with Marshall.
He's a better corner prospect, think it's the coaches just telling him what he wants to hear like Jalin.
Still have Gibson, Quick, Elder out there; I see a greater secondary need. Conley isn't a safety which is the bigger need but he gives us better options and can move Cam to safety. Plus we...
