'06 MD LB Navorro Bowman (Penn State signee)

If I'm not mistaken, didn't those two hotshot recruits, Justin King and the wideout participate in spring ball at Penn St? I'm pretty sure they did, so apparently it can be done.
Yes, they did - ithey may have graduated high school early enough to clear admissions prior to PSU's spring semester

PSU is on semesters, and OSU is on quarters - OSU's "quarter" system generally seems to be advantageous to kids who graduate high school early. I know that the quarter vs. semester issue was also a concern for Fred Davis, who graduated early.

Navorro cancelled his visit to Florida and will decide between tOSU, Penn St., and Virginia Tech sometime during the first week of December.

I would say the smart money here would be on PSU or VA Tech at this point, but he speaks highly of all three schools.

I'd go vith VT. I'd think that PSU is guaranteed to have a head coaching change within the next 4 years (if not this year..what a way for Joe Pa to go out). I would think that would certainly be a negative, not knowing who you are going to be playing for.

isn't his son running most of the team as it is...i thought he was the one that was going to take over the team...i am sure that is what JoePa would want to happen (keeping it in the family)
