One day, Ohio State will probably beat Georgia for a recruit.

The football programs and coaches are similar (I know some of you hate Richt, but he's not a bad man when you consider there are guys like Kiffin and Saban in the SEC), but it's nice there all year round. Hard to blame them.

Don't sell yourself or your program short. You have in the past and you will in the future.

Take a look at it from our perspective too - we aren't going to march into Ohio and take your best prospects - we might be able to cherry pick one every 3-4 years. But it has to be the right prospect.

Take heart - clearly your staff has a plan. You'll have a great class again for 2010

That post had a very strange feel to it to me haha...

Like someone made a jump shot over Lebron and then put their arm around him and in a serious tone said: "Don't worry Lebron, keep your head up. You will have your moment if you keep working hard. Look at it from my point of view, I have given up shots before on defense. You clearly have potential, some day you will see."

Jim - I didn't mean for it to be condescending. I apologize if it was taken that way.

This is the recruiting portion of this site - since I'm a non-buckeye guest here, I think its particulary important to be respectful of the program that the site is dedicated to. That was all I was going for.

I understand. I think you've shown that's not your aim on this site and didn't mean to make it sound like I thought that was your intention. I meant it more as just an observation.

I love having the fans of other teams post on here (i.e. you).

Georgia O-line commitment Benedict blows out knee
10:56 am October 19, 2009, by Chip Towers

Georgia commitment Brent Benedict, one of the top offensive line prospects in the country, suffered what was described as a ?catastrophic knee injury? in a game Friday night in Jacksonville.

Benedict, a 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle who stars for The Bolles School, reportedly injured the knee when he was simply running down the field to celebrate a touchdown during a 68-0 win over Yulee, according to a report in The Florida Times-Union. There was no contact on the play.

T-U reporter Carlon Hays quoted coach Corky Rogers: ?It seems to be about as bad as it can get. ?It looked like somebody had shot him when he went down.?
