Big Vern's "little" cousin. Figured since we were already starting 2010 prospect thread I would throw this one out as well, especially with the obvious connection he already has with Ohio State. No profiles yet on the recruiting services, however, that I could find.

William Gholston - DE/TE - Detroit Mumford
Gholston first caught my eye at the ThinkDetroit PAL combine and then followed it up with a good showing at Michigan's summer camp. Already a fairly filled out 6'5, 230-lbs, he wasn't as natural a pass catcher as I would like to see from a tight end, but he's been a terror for Mumford at defensive end this year. In case anyone was wondering, he is Vernon Gholston's cousin and he has a chance to be a Big Ten caliber player as well.

If this is truely Mr. Gholston then it's great to hear you want to be a Buckeye and I hope your dream is fulfilled.

...oh and tell your cousin he was amazing in scarlet and gray.

From the recruiting forum rules:
5) Do not try to contact or influence a recruit on this board. While it is acceptable to relate the strengths of the Ohio State University in a general way, please do not cross the line and start begging, pleading, cajoling, etc. recruits to become Buckeyes. Not only is such conduct often counterproductive (the school and the football program should be able to "sell" themselves, and the coaching staff doesn't really need your help), it could also be a violation of NCAA recruiting rules. All "open letters" to recruits will be deleted.

Already deleted 3 such posts in this thread...we can't play with this one guys.

Thanks for understanding.
