Too bad he likes Michigan....

I think Heurman and the Boren brothers liked scUM too, and they were converted to the good side.

Let's hope Kenny Hayes helps out our staff and works as a cheerleader for OSU and we can get Wormley.

Hearing the glowing remarks about Hayes and seeing how bad scUM's defense has been under RichRod should all work in our favor!

TOLEDO, Ohio - Whitmer's Kenny Hayes is already an Ohio State football commit. He could be joined by teammate and fellow defensive end Chris Wormley.

Hayes, entering his senior season, just came back from a Buckeye football camp. Meanwhile, Wormley will only be a junior this year and is still growing in his current 6-5, 255 lb. frame.

Ohio State has invited Wormley to its football camp taking place on June 26. The defensive end already has offers from such schools as Michigan State and Toledo. He told Hardcore Sports he is thrilled to have been invited by the Buckeyes.

WHEN IT COMES TO THE CLASS OF 2012, ALL EYES ARE ON BIG WORM

By Lee Hudnell at 6:46 PM

Toledo Whitmer defensive end, Chris Wormley

TOLEDO ? In the motion picture Friday, whenever the character "Big Worm" comes rolling down the road, residents on the street run for cover. They quiver in their shoes just thinking that he may pay them a visit.

The same can also be said for opposing quarterbacks when Chris "Big Worm" Wormley steps onto the football field. All they can do is duck and run.

Wormley, a defensive end from Toledo Whitmer, is everything you look for in a pass rusher: big, strong, quick and athletic.

During his sophomore season in 2009, the young talent recorded 12 quarterback sacks for Whitmer, helping his team to a 9-1 regular season record and a berth in the Division I state playoffs.

WORMLEY VISITS: Whitmer junior Chris Wormley visited UM's fan day Sunday, according to the Web site mgoblog.com.

Wormley, a 6-foot-5 defensive end, told the site that Ohio State is his No. 1 choice at this point. Neither OSU nor UM have offered Wormley a scholarship but he has got offers from Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan State.

"Ohio State has shown me the most love so far, so they lead," Wormley told the site. "Anything can happen in two years though. I'm probably going to wait until signing day, so I still have a long time to go. I still root for Michigan on Saturdays, and I'm a fan of them, so we'll see."
