Noticed he's cooled off on tTUN...that's good. I would be lying if some of this above didn't worry me a bit. Glad to hear he may be visiting OSU again...good stuff.:oh: The ND stuff will cool...after Kelly pulls another blow up on his new freshman QB or others...it's inevitable.

I think he knows that he's a back up plan for tOSU, most likely with tsun as well. So from a pride and realistic standpoint he can't be gung-ho with them... if UF wanted him, he could get him in my opinion.:io:

OSU still high on Devon Allen's list

By Brad Bournival | ESPN.com

The trip Devon Allen (Phoenix, Ariz./Brophy) made to Columbus in July must have been outstanding because Ohio State has made the cut, as the three-star wide receiver has trimmed his list to 11.

Arizona State, Arkansas, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas, UCLA and Washington have made it as well.

Allen has shored up official visits to Arkansas (Sept. 15) for the Razorbacks? game with Alabama and is planning to go to Texas for the Oct. 6 game against West Virginia. Tonight, Allen will take an unofficial visit to Arizona State for its opener against Northern Arizona.

He?s also working on an official visit to Notre Dame.

?I had a blast at Ohio State when they had that little Friday Night Lights camp,? Allen said. ?There were probably 5,000 to 10,000 fans in the stands just watching us do one-on-ones. That was pretty cool.?

5. Devon Allen, WR, Phoenix (Az.) Brophy Prep

Allen is one of several standout prospects in the state of Arizona in the class of 2013. The vertical threat with elite straight-line speed has long been thought to be a tough pull for the in-state programs, and that continues to be the case with a Pac-12 storied program likely to end any hopes of Arizona State or Arizona to keep the two-sport star home.

West coast analyst Justin Hopkins on Allen?s recruitment: ?Allen's campaign initially had huge traction out of the East with Ohio State leading the surge. But a late push from the West has placed the UCLA campaign front and center. Stanford and Oregon also remain at large, but oddly enough the Ducks haven't offered a football scholarship and is being recruited for track. An upcoming visit to UCLA on Nov. 16 could be enough to seal the deal for the Bruins and bring an end to this campaign. Allen is exactly the type of big-play game-breaking receiver the Bruins have sorely missed."
