When it comes to Miami I have to wonder what the recruiting pitch is to these athletes. Will they have a team? I know there is a thread for that discussion but as it relates Heuerman I would think that us being out from under the bowl ban by the time he would arrive and the real possibility that Miami would just be finding out or entering, maybe even still a year away. (think USC time frames) I still see several recruits mention Miami and I wonder if that will change in the near future. But it's close to home for Heuerman so I understand.

We have limited numers this year, but any way we take two TE's if they are Heuerman and Breneman? I think it would be awfully hard to turn those two down and that would have to be the best TE haul in the country. Plus with our new offense, I would have to think we would find ways to use both of them.

People who would know don't think there will be limited scholarship numbers when it's all said and done. FWIW

Thanks. And apparently Mike is going to be a 4 star outside of the Rivals 250 (per the Rivals 100 chat today).

Was just coming in here to say that I have watched his film numerous times. He is an absolute great blocker, can catch it, and has nice speed. Will need to get much bigger (I saw him and stood by him twice in Columbus as the team walked from Blackwell - he's not NCAA TE size right now, unless he's grown).

Anyway, what I meant to say was that he just isn't getting his deserved early, pre-Senior season hype, but now it looks like he will. I believe Mike is our TE for the 2013 class.

EDIT: He and Joshua Perry will make a great duo here out of the backfield and split wide. Jumbo athletes.
