Maybe he's pulling the trigger early (vice his earlier announced decision date of Feb 5) so that his spot isn't taken by Wilson. His not visiting Florida before making his decision doesn't bode well for the Gators...

free Rivals - Timmons sets decision date

After some conflicting reports surfaced on Monday night, the date has been set for Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County ATH Ryan Timmons as to when his college decision will be announced. The 5-foot-10, 186-pound speedster confirmed in a text message to BuckeyeGrove.com that he will make his college choice on Tuesday February 5th at 1 pm at his high school.

Ryan Timmons' decision is near. Ohio State, Kentucky and Florida will be paying close attention.

The athlete prospect from Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin will announce his decision from his school at 1 p.m. EST Tuesday. After an official visit to Gainesville last weekend, the decision will be much more difficult.

I don't know if this is any sort of NCAA violation, but it's at least stalker like to park this outside the kid's high school.
