'13 PA ATH Robert Foster (Alabama Signee)

gonna say no...

i guess all these people saying he is a long shot know what they are talking about...

alot of osu fans really want foster since he is very close and highly rated...he seems to have more of a college ready body than our other WR targets...

but who knows if he is even still one of urbans targets...

Thought he might have had second thoughts and made the trip but it appears both sides have moved on.

It seems that we're going after quick, Gibson, elder, smith with backups of Stevens, Whitfield and Timmons. Foster seems like he's leaning more Pitt, but I'd never rule out Alabama. Especially if they win the NC

I'm not a sour grape type of guy, but we have enough candidates at the position, and don't need a potential problem. He doesn't have the best track record thus far. Foster isn't exactly DBG either. If you can't even show a Coach courtesy when he's at your school... you can hit the bricks.

1-Quick
2-Gibson
3-Smith
4-Timmons

Can't really go wrong.

IMO, if the coaches are ok with re-opening things, then I'm all for it. There's no questioning Foster's talent level, at least from the footage that I've seen. Personally, I'd take him over any WR in the '13 class, based on film alone. Obviously that isn't everything, but I think he'd thrive in the Meyer/Herman offense.

If our coaches want a player, so do I. Q.E.D.

Ok, essentially the story to this is that OSU and Foster were testing the waters with each other again. Luke showed up at his school to meet with him, and was not welcomed with open arms, and Foster didn't even show the courtesy to meet him.

Anyone here actually have been able to read the full article. Perhaps the OSU staff was in talking to his hs coach to see if Foster has made progress in maturing as a human being. I am all for the staff doing their due diligence. Whether Foster is actually brought in for an official will tell everything.
